Chocolate Date Nut Bars

Yield: Makes about 2 dozen bars

Ingredients

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Spray a 9 x 9- inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl beat eggs; gradually beat in sugar. Combine flour and baking powder and stir in to egg mixture. Add chocolate syrup, vanilla, nuts and dates; stir to combine. Spread in prepared pan.

Bake for 25 minutes. Cool. Cut into 1 x 3- inch strips. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
